On 9th August 2010 and on the 65th anniversary of the destruction of Nagasaki and Hiroshima by the USA atomic bombing, in commemorating of that catastrophic event, the Islamic Republic of Iran, donated two paintings of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki’s mushroom clouds to the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO)
